Sarah graduated from her midwifery program in August 2023. She moved to Arizona in October 2023 and is so excited to be here! Prior to her midwifery career, she received a Master’s in Public Health and worked in research with a focus on disparities in women’s health. Sarah’s personal philosophy of midwifery is that all people should have access to equitable, evidence-based, empowering, person-centered care. She believes that the patient is the expert in their life and they have the right to self-determination, autonomy, and choice. Every person deserves to be treated with empathy, dignity, and respect, and every person deserves to receive safe care from a place of cultural humility.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys lifting and competing in powerlifting as well as spending time with her 10 year old chiweenie, Siren.
